Geoenergy briefly

Geothermal energy is an umbrella term for various methods of extraction and storage of heat or cooling in rocks and soil. Geoenergy is predominantly used in Geothermal wells, Borehole stocks and Aquifers.

Geothermal

Individual wells to individual houses. Energy Factor 3-4 = it takes 1 kWh of electricity to produce 3-4 kWh of geothermal energy. Normal energy saving about 55-65 percent.

Borehole Stock

Several closely spaced drill holes that are connected in real estate. Energy Factor 4-6 = it takes 1 kWh of electricity to produce 4-6 kWh of geothermal energy. Normal energy saving about 75-85 percent.

Aquifers

Natural aquifers in rocks and soil. Typically used in large-scale projects such as district heating, hospitals and airports. Energy Factor 30-40.
